In this thread started back on 12-15, Jade asked Diarmuid to deliver real weapons to the rooms of several of his colleagues. Since this is backdated so far, feel free to ignore the contact/have something come up that she never found the weapon if it conflicts with any plans you might have. It's not like a lot wasn't going on during that time frame!
If you do want to use the weapon, what she would have found on her bed sometime that day is a real staff taken from a monster with the following note attached. If you have any questions, please let me know!)

...we have a common friend in the form of Jade Curtiss. He asked me to leave this weapon for you so that you might be better able to defend yourself in this place. It is a real staff taken from a monster. While leaving it unattended for any amount of time risks it being replaced with a film copy, the glamour glitches have been frequent enough lately that you should be able to check its status fairly quickly.

I am aware that Colonel Curtiss has mentioned you a few times to me. I am also aware that you seem to have known another me before this current me. I am uncertain to what it all means, but I am Tear, regardless.

You are very welcome and I am glad that the weapon will be useful to you. I am sorry if the mention of me knowing a different version of you is confusing. She and only spoke once, but were going to work together on some classes meant to help train those here who wanted to fight.
The idea of their having been another version of you around is probably very strange. My world had a branch of magic that is completely devoted to that kind of thing, so it is a little less odd to me, and I hope that I never make you uncomfortable because of that.
You are a different person than her and I look forward to having the chance to get to know you should you wish to do the same.
It will be very useful, since I have been relying on my secondary weapons before. I am certain this will make things much easier.
